Did you know the 'The Wonderful Wizard of Oz' began life in 1900 as a childrens novel before the film version 'The Wizard of Oz' came out in 1939?. The gorgeous Judy Garland starred as Dorothy in her iconic blue gingham dress, hairbow, white socks and of course magic ruby slippers.
Includes: Dress with petticoat and hairbow.
This child Dorothy costume consists of an all-in-one gingham dress with white under top and is fastened at the back with a zip. It has short sleeves which are slightly puffed with a line of gingham trim around the arm line.
This line of gingham trim also features at the neckline of the white top. The apron style front to the dress has gingham straps and button detailing. This then leads down to a full gingham skirt with attached netted petticoat with lace trim.
Our kids Dorothy costume also includes is a foam bow with elastic band in matching shade of blue.
Perfect for a budding Dorothy as a Book Week costume or for film-themed parties.
Previous customers have added a Toto, white ankle socks and sparkly red shoes to really finish off this child Dorothy costume.
