100% Orders Shipped On Time

Jokers' Masquerade were privileged to have a piece within the BBC's 'South Today' regional opt out news programme, broadcasted on Monday 20th December. Included within the live broadcast from Basingstoke shopping centre was an article discussing the contrasts between consumer online Internet shopping and that of High Street retail trade. This was especially topical as the High Street was hoping for a bumper 'last minute' buying spree as previous week's sales were low compared to perceived booming Internet sales. Our input and contrast was that by that week, all our pre-Christmas shipping would be complete and that the last few days before Christmas would be quiet for us.
More interestingly, on GMTV the next day, an article was broadcast discussing and debating the problems with Internet shopping and how many consumers were worried that orders placed online would not be received before Christmas. Included was an interview with a representative of Amazon who seemed pleased that they were able to attain some 90% fulfilment rate of orders before Christmas. Consumers were encouraged to email GMTV with their experiences as customers were expressing concerns that Christmas stockings would be empty.
Mark Lewis, Managing Director says "Again this shows how many online Internet retailers within all markets entice consumers to purchase online when items are not in stock. My worry is that all Internet retailers will all be tarnished with the same brush and typical media 'bad news' hype. Jokers' Masquerade shipped all received orders on time and closed for the holiday period safe in the knowledge that 100% of paid and complete orders were shipped within our published timescales. Yesterday we commissioned an audit of our website by a US company called ScanAlert to test our website for any security exploits. Within 24 hours we were audited and passed with flying colours, being approved and accredited as a 'Hacker Safe' website. So, what does that mean to a shopper?
Our http://www.joke.co.uk website will be tested on an ongoing daily basis to ensure that it passes both the FBI and SANS Institute security tests. If we pass, the Hacker Safe logo will appear on our website to show that it is safe to shop as we commit to help protect you from identity theft and credit card fraud. The ScanAlert logo is only visible on a website if it passes such daily test to ensure an ongoing awareness and includes the date of the last test pass:

Mark Lewis, Managing Director says "Surprisingly we still receive telephone calls from customers who still perceive Internet shopping to be unsafe and wish to give their credit card details over the telephone, commenting that they are afraid to enter credit card details into any website. Our accreditation with ScanAlert is again testament to our ever ongoing commitment to our customers that it is safe to shop at Jokers' Masquerade."
