Fancy dress Friday at the T in the Park has become somewhat of a tradition at the Scottish music festival since it began back in 1994. For the 2011 fancy dress theme the organisers have selected 80's retro as the direction for your costumes to take.

The era of the New Romantic was also the age of such massively popular TV and movie characters such as The Ghostbusters, E.T. and the Fraggles of Fraggle Rock.

T in the Park Festival

T in the Park is one of Scotland's most successful music festivals and it returns this July for 2011's extravaganza.

This year's festival will also feature a fairground with various rides including a big dipper and log flume. They'll also be a cinema screening classic movies along with the return of 'Healthy T' which, is the organisers ongoing effort to supply festival revellers with some healthy local produce, allow you to re-hydrate with free water and watch some entertainment whilst lounging in the sun..

The list of artists headlining this year's T in the Park include Arctic Monkeys, Coldplay and the Foo Fighters. The T in the Park 2011 line up also includes artists such as Beyonce, Pulp, Slash, Peter Doherty, Fun Lovin' Criminals, Blondie, Eels, House of Pain, Jimmy Eat World, KT Tunstall, Manic Street Preachers, My Chemical Romance, Ocean Colour Scene, Tom Jones, You Me At Six and Weezer.

The 7th, 8th, 9th and 10th July 2011.

Adult Weekend Tickets - £175 to £195
