The 1960's. It was dubbed the 'swinging' sixties due to its relaxation of taboo subjects including fashion, and experienced complex inter-related cultural and political trends. Based on the mod girl of the era, this fantastic Womens Swinging 60s Costume easily re-creates the bright and funky style of the time.

Costume includes:

  • Dress
  • Hat

This Womens Swinging 60s Costume offers a straight-cut dress with pink and black checked front. The back of the dress is black and has a simple line of elastic at the back to help shape the dress to the wearer. The dress is easily fastened at the rear with a zip.

Also included is a matching disco style hat in black and pink check. There is elastic at the back of the hat for a personalised fit.

The pictured accessories are not included but can be purchased separately.

Swinging 60s dress and hat

Very prompt delivery. Very thin clingy material and sizing was a bit small but was very reasonably priced and will be fine for one evening. Also bought the pink boots and the outfit looks really good together.

Just the job

Looks good and the large fits my 16-18 size well. The hat is very floppy so wont keep it's shape, but I did a little remedial stiffening and stitching on it and it was perfect. Fun outfit for a 60s party - just the job.
