Official Teletubbies Tinky Winky Costume (ref: 61865)
Tinky Winky (the purple one) was the largest and oldest of the Teletubby gang. This is the official licensed costume from the makers of the BBC childrens TV series.
Includes: Headpiece, bodysuit and shoe covers.
The Tinky Winky fancy dress costume includes a deep purple poly-foam jumpsuit which is fastened at the back by velcro. The sleeves have mitten style hand covers which have a slit near the wrist to release your hands when needed. Tinky Winky's tummy features the trademark Teletubby grey screen.
The shoes covers are separate and are tied around the ankles .
This Teletubby costume is completed by a matching front fastening headpiece with Tinky Winky's triangular shaped antenna and attached oversized ears.
Jokers Masquerade tip: Tinky Winky caused controversy due to his red 'magic bag'. We think it would be a great idea to finish this outfit off with an over sized red handbag...sorry...we mean 'magic bag'.

How do I stuff the belly of this costume?
The belly is not meant to be stuffed. The design and material of the costume hangs so as to create a fat belly look. We sell a Santa belly stuffer which could add an extra bit of chubbiness but the effect would not be overly noticeable. -
Up to what size feet will the shoe covers fit?
The shoe covers will fit all sizes of feet and are held in place with velcro and ties. -
What is the maximum height for this costume?
This costume should fit any height, as the feet are separate and anyone who is particularly tall will just need to fill in the gap between the ankles and the feet. -
Does this costume have pockets to keep phones and wallets?
Sorry, there are no pockets in this costume but Tinky Winky had a handbag and so we don't think a handbag or man-bag would look too out of character with this costume. -
How do I go to the toilet in this costume? Do I have to take the whole costume off?
The back of the Teletubbie is velcroed so you can slip the costume off your shoulders and then pull it down like you would a pair of trousers. -
Is the material stuffed or thin?
The material is thin to avoid the wearer overheating but it is cut to hang and look podgy.
