Star Wars Deluxe Darth Maul Costume (ref: 24223)

George Lucas once described Darth Maul as being a figure from your worst nightmare. And we can see why. Turn into one of the ultimate bad guys in movie history with this licensed Star Wars Darth Maul costume.

Includes a hemmed hooded tunic, matching trousers with attached boot tops, belt, and mask.

The hooded tunic is made of polyester, allowing comfortable and flexible movement, and also a resistance to creases. The full length sleeves are wide across the upper arm, slightly elasticated at the elbow, and then tighter across the forearm, this creates the illusion of a more muscular physique, and also a billowing effect upon movement.

There are drapes of fabric on the shoulders and lower back of the robe, adding extra layers and definition to the costume. The robe is secured in place using the included belt. The belt is made of PVC and is fastened using Velcro, and therefore can be worn as tight or loose as required. It is wider across the front and becomes thinner around the sides and the back, creating the effect of a muscular torso and small waist. Perfect for intimidating someone into a lightsaber duel!

The matching trousers are also made of polyester, and have a similar effect to the sleeves. They have an elasticated waistband and excess fabric around the thighs, this again creates the appearance of a slim waist, and muscular legs. The fabric is pulled in just below the knee, allowing it to fold over the boot tops, disguising that the trousers are attached to the boots.

The attached boot tops have a shimmery effect and are lightweight, and are designed to allow the convenience of being able to wear your own shoes. There is a piece of elastic attached to the bottom, allowing the boot tops to stay securely in place.

The face mask can be with the hood of the robe up. The horns on the mask both help to keep the hood in place and create a more shapely effect of the head. The mask has slits just above the eyes on the mask, which are out of view, and allow comfortable vision. There are also holes in the nostrils to make wearing the mask more comfortable.
