The modern military officers of the armed forces are individuals who holds a position of authority within armies. If you're looking for a historical version of these leadership figures, then why not try this 1940s inspired Adult Men's Wartime Officer Costume? Take command of your party and prepare for battle as the officer you were always meant to be!
The Adult Men's Wartime Officer Costume includes a long-sleeve military green jacket with two faux pockets and two working pockets on the front. To create an authentic appearance, the jacket features fabric medals on the chest, yellow and black chevron badges on each sleeve and gold button detailing on the pockets and shoulders. Four working buttons running down the front of the jacket provide a secure fastening.
Also included is a pair of straight cut dark green trousers with a fully elasticated waistband, giving you a comfortable yet versatile fit, and a cream coloured mock shirt front with an attached green tie which can be worn under the jacket. The mock shirt secures around the neck with a velcro fastening for ease.
The look is completed with a dark green belt with with a gold buckle and a matching green beret. The military beret has been a part of many arm forces uniforms throughout the world since the mid-20th century. The included beret is partly elasticated to ensure a comfortable fit when wearing.

This was actually a pretty decent costume. Looks exactly as advertised. It includes a bit of the shirt, which I thought I'd have to get separately, so that's great too. It's not the most comfortable of outfits, being made from polyester, but fits well. I guess the weakest bit of the outfit was the beret, which I never really worked out how it was supposed to work with the folds etc.
