Experian Hitwise 2012 Top 10 Winner

For the third consecutive year, Jokers' Masquerade are thrilled to announce that they have been awarded an Experian Hitwise Top 10 Award as one of the most successful websites in the UK. The Experian Hitwise Top 10 Awards recognise UK websites that receive the most traffic from UK internet users and winners are announced twice a year based on the market share of visits received.

The Jokers' Masquerade www.joke.co.uk website was ranked 9th in the Shopping and Classifieds - Toys and Hobbies industry for 2012. Placed ahead of the massive gift and gadget retailer I want One of Those and the only dedicated online retailer of fancy dress costumes in the top 10. We are very proud to be associated with other large online retailers such as Toys R Us, Disney Store and Firebox.

Over the last year Jokers' Masquerade has seen many changes, not only within the fancy dress industry but also changes in digital trends. With many competitors seeing a decline in sales, in what is a very over populated and competitive marketplace, we can proudly declare that we have embraced digital trends by launching a new website and also a fully functioning mobile site during 2012. Expanding to other markets and becoming a multi-channel retailer will lead to the aspiration and tireless work ethic of Mark Lewis and his Jokers' Masquerade team looking to rise even higher in the next Experian Hitwise Top 10 Awards.

Mark Lewis, Managing Director, says "It's a fantastic achievement to be recognised as a leading online retailer and the top fancy dress website within the UK. We look to build on this success into 2013 and continue to provide our customers with a great online shopping experience."

The Experian Hitwise UK Top 10 Awards celebrates the most successful websites within the UK and ranks a business website based on the market share of visits that it receives using anonymous online usage statistics. The wonderful thing about this accolade is that it recognises excellence in online performance through public popularity.
