How we did it...
Step 1: Make sure the costume is as creased as possible, we don't want our Dead Riding Hood to look as immaculate as the original.
Step 2: To create the impression of having fought off the Big Bad Wolf, we used a Woochie scratch prosthetic. If the idea of this scares you then you can easily create a similar effect by using red face paints and accompanying gel blood. Drip spots of blood down the face.
Step 3: Rip the costume at angles to give the impression of shreds caused by claws. Don't be scared to add a little blood onto the dress too.
Important Return note: If you are ordering more than one DIY costume this may cause some duplication of make-up and other items, so please ensure you amend the quantities accordingly within the basket at check-out. The costume you will receive is brand new and in immaculate condition. Before you go ahead with any modifications please ensure you are happy with the fit as we will be unable to offer a refund once any changes have been made.
