Prince Charming Stole the Night!

Attended a 50th birthday party with an 80s icon theme and, having narrowly decided not to go as Jimmy Saville, opted for Adam Ant instead. Outfit includes: full length jacket with attached "lace" cravatte and velcro fastenings; ample silver/grey trousers (more MC Hammer than Prince Charming!); blue belt; red sash and black plastic overshoe "boots" with gold "embroidery". I opted to wear some beige jeans and a black leather belt rather than the trousers and belt supplied plus already had a black wig and with a bit of the kid's face paint and a few cotton friendship bracelet's hair-gripped in to the wig the look was complete! I have to admit, the visual effect provided by the outfit is pretty good value for money, everyone immediately knew who I'd come as and I received numerous compliments on the outfit throughout the night, Madonna was particularly complimentary! I opted for the "Standard" size and the jacket was a good snug fit for someone who is a fairly active and trim 5'11 and 12 stone and the overshoe boots survived several hours of maniacal dancing an pogo-ing though may not survive too many more outings if given similar punishment. Unless you are lucky enough to still have a full head of black curly hair I would definitely recommend a wig as it certainly completes the look. Overall, very pleased with the outfit and helped me to truly re- live the 80s....

Adam Ant

Ordered this costume and very pleased, good quality and fit, I had lots of compliments on my outfit, especially the coat, I didn't use the boot covers as I wore my own boots which I think looked better and completed the look.
