When you were a kid, did adults tell you that you could do anything you put your mind to? Did they say, “you can be anything you want to be when you grow up”? Although we know they were trying to encourage us, neither of those statements are necessarily true. As we grew up, we learned that we had some physical limitations. For example, if you’re about 5 feet tall, you’ll probably never play professional basketball. And conversely, if you’re taller than 6 feet, you probably won’t be a very good jockey. Some of us dreamed of being cheerleaders in high school but ran into some of those physical limitations. No matter how much we stretched, we could never do the splits. No matter how many times we fell on our heads, our bodies refused to perform a successful cartwheel. Now, you can live out your cheer squad dreams without having to do any pike jumps!
