Thoughts on the Picket Fence
Imagine you're drawing a classic haunted house. What does it look like? It's probably a big ol' Victorian on a hill with crooked shutters with a crescent moon peeking out from behind the roof. There might be a few ghosties drifting out of the windows or a witch stirring a cauldron in the kitchen. Here's the thing, our favorite part of the classic image of the haunted house is the rickety picket fence with the angry black cat perched on the top. The black cat just lets anyone who dares to pass that gate know that they're in for one of the spookiest times of their lives!
