Hot Take
All the “experts” advised to avoid spicy foods before your baby arrived. But after enjoying an abundance of your favorite peppered plates, fragrant fare, and hot hankerings, you’re beyond glad you took that advice with a grain of salt. Every spicy meal you ate just built a milelong list of good reasons to enjoy one, two, or all of them. Because you said yes to them all, you weren’t crabbily craving chilis and sharp bites. There was no need to adjust your recipes to fit flavor guidelines, which meant cooking was quick to satisfy and quell any hangry moments. And when it came to old wives’ tales, you knew, at least, your kiddo wouldn’t be able to steal your fiery side—looks and energy be darned—you were keeping it fueled with all the hottest snacks. But most advantageously, your spice consumption ensured your baby kept to their ETA.
Show spicy food the gratitude it deserves with a tasteful costume tribute that’ll surely serve your spicy sprout well!
