The Secret Saguaro Star
Cue the country western scene. A cowboy is striding out of a saloon, pistol at his hip. He's ready to confront the evil stagecoach robbers, who coincidentally are also the cattle rustlers who have been stealing the local ranchers' prize cattle herds. He stands in the middle of the street, squinting into the hot sun, and sees a... palm tree on the horizon. No, that can't be right. That doesn't create the same atmosphere at all. Someone find a cactus!

The Wild West Wonder
Yes, cowboys and other Western phenomena are awesome, but let's talk about cacti for a minute. Besides the fact that it has a super cool-sounding plural form, a cactus has literal spines. on. its. body. How amazing would that be? Plus, it can go for a really long time without needing a drink, which is a handy talent and kind of a low-key superpower if you think about it. And of course, just the sight of one puts you in the mood for a desert vacation.
