Honestly, it is very confusing to us why police officers carry nightsticks. It would seem that a Taser or pepper would be far more helpful, whereas pulling out a nightstick would look a little odd. At least it is a very impressive stick and it looks fun to carry. You could use it to gently bop your radio if it wasn't working, because everyone knows that tapping things makes them go back to normal.
