We know Hook's hot-headedness was part of his personality but we can't help but believe that if a women had his place on the ship she would have handled things differently, other than his red velvet ensemble that is. How could you say no to a rich red velvet coat and an oversized hat with white feathers?
Honestly, if Hook had been a lady the pirate captain's conflict with the mischievous Peter Pan probably would have been cut short. After all, we all know that Peter Pan is the kind of little boy who can't stand to be ignored. If the female version of Captain Hook had simply given him a cold stare, lifted one eyebrow and went to ignore his antics as she plotted the crew's next voyage in her cabin Peter would have left them alone to go bother someone else in no time. Then Hook would have still had a hand and the pirate crew wouldn't have been stuck in Never Neverland, endlessly pursuing the flying wonder child! And the crocodile? It wouldn't take long before Miss. Hook was wearing a pair of striking crocodile skin shoes.
You'll be ready to show those lost boys that they'd better stay in the forest in this striking ensemble. The coat is dramatic with gold piping and a belt to accentuate the waist. With boot covers, a dashing cravat, and the red and gold hat with white feathers you'll be instantly recognizable as the nefarious pirate captain, simply add the hook to make the look complete. It's about time Never Never Land had a lady in charge!
